Organising A Blog Using The Optimum Permalink Framework

By On January 14, 2010 No Comments

Blogging is fun. There is so much to enjoy and so many areas to delve in to obtain results. Besides the fact that it is a lot of enjoyment, you can even bring in extra cash from blogging should you be brainy about it. Whichever way you select to go, there are a couple of things to bear in mind if you decide to structure your blog in the direction of traffic and income streams.

At the outset, think of your Permalink Structure. It is wise to prepare it right from the start. The permalinks need to be optimized for Search Engine Optimisation wherever possible and it isn’t very difficult to do. Stay away from a numbered Permalink Framework. It isn’t recommended and it works extremely bad for SEO. Utilise key words in the permanent URL and in your categories as well as in the title of each posting. Fit the most applicable search phrase somewhere and that’ll help you rank for your coveted keywords. It’s not merely about an individual word, it’s related to relevancy too as search engines consider the URL and grade it depending on its relevancy to the website.

At any time you take part on Social Media web pages, then bear in mind that each post you create on these sites may generate a unique URL. Many of them will get the URL from the bookmark label and/or your tags. Learn the Permalink Structure of your favourite social networking websites and exploit this.

Links are friends. They send you people traffic and therefore search engine spider traffic. Wheresoever practicable, get your keywords into that link title and you will see particular SEO bonuses from it!

My Dog Is Now Flea Free!!!

By On December 27, 2009 No Comments

Are Fleas driving your dog crazy??? Your dog can pick up fleas virtually anywhere. You can even bring them home to your dog. After visiting a friend of mines house that has 3 cats, I had to be the carrier of fleas to my home. Before I new it my dog was scratching and itching like crazy. I flip her over and yup, she had a flea run and hide in her hair. What to do now?

First I gave her a bath. That seemed to get ride of some fleas but they were back in no time. Then I decide to go purchase some flea control at the pet store. I decided to try Frontline after I asked a few other dog owners what worked best for them. With in 2 hours I noticed that I did not see anymore fleas. I was really impressed. Right after I applied the Frontline my dog ran around my house rolling on the ground trying to get the medicine off. What she didn’t know is that in a few hours she would be flea free. Frontline last around 4 weeks. I usually don’t apply unless I see them since my dog is not usually outside much. You may have a different situation. Check out my blog for more info and good deals on flea control. Flea medacine I once heard that if you put garlic in your dog food it will drive the fleas away. Who knows if thats true???

Also if you have any good flea remedies that work for you, I would love to here them. Feel free to post your story on my dog blog.

What Is Wordpress? – A New Blogger’s Guide

By On November 12, 2009 No Comments

Those who have been looking for a blogging platform or online content management system may have heard other Internet users talk about Wordpress; however, they may not know what this platform is, or how to effectively use it. To get the most out of Wordpress, it is important to understand how it evolved, how it is currently used, and how it can benefit users.

The History of Wordpress

In 2001, Michael Valdrighi created a blogging platform called B2/Cafe. Although B2/Cafe was relatively advanced compared to other platforms available at the time, it failed to gain widespread attention. As a result, it was shut down in 2003.

Shortly before the termination of the project, one of B2/Cafe´s users, Matt Mullenweg, began incorporating the platform´s codebase into his own folk software. Soon after, Valdrighi and Mike Little joined Mullenweg in his efforts to make blogging more accessible and user-friendly.

The team launched the first version of Wordpress in May 2003. Over the next several years, the platform evolved quickly to keep pace with a dramatically increasing global interest in blogging. In 2005, the team added a hosting service designed for users who lacked the interest or knowledge to host their own blogs.

That same year, Wordpress added a template system, which allowed users to customize the look and feel of their blogs by uploading design templates. Many of the early templates were generic and lacked advanced functionality; however, in later years, premium templates evolved that allowed users greater control over the presentation of their blogs.

Wordpress is now the most popular blogging platform in the world. Its versatility and a huge range of plug-ins make it the number one choice for anyone looking to set up a professional looking website at low cost. To see an example of wordpress in action, why not visit our web design blog, where you can keep up to date with the latest website design news.

Hemorrhoid Treatment With Results In 48 Hours!

By On March 17, 2009 No Comments

If you’re thinking about using creams, lotions, drugs or any other product to get rid of hemorrhoids, I’m extremely relieved that you’ve found my blog because not only will my story shock you, it’ll almost certainly save your health, your money as well as a lot of time and heart aches.

I will tell you exactly why over a 3 month period I tried but was forced to give up with Preparation H, Venapro, and a range of other products… and how I finally managed to get rid of my hemorrhoids completely with a unique product called “H Miracle”.

One day, I had to go to the bathroom (nothing special yet).
After I have finished, I felt a sharp pain down there. I took a look at the toilet paper after I cleaned and I saw a large amount of blood.

I said to myself “maybe it’s nothing”. But it wasn’t. I felt itching or pain every time I sat down. Every visit to the bathroom was a nightmare. I thought it will pass naturally after a few days but it didn’t. It even got worse. I felt like the entire area was swollen.

I suffered not only from the pain itself, but also from the discomfort around people… I work as a project manager at a hi-tech company. My job involves a lot of meetings, and I couldn’t sit even for short periods of time… I am sure my colleagues saw me acting weird, but I said nothing. What can I say, “Hey guys, I am sorry I have to stand but my butt hearts”??? it was pretty embarrassing.

And that was the point when I realized I had to do something about it……….

What is on my mind today

By On January 2, 2009 No Comments

Today I wanna write a little bit of my latest thoughts:

Although my last vacation is now already a few months ago, I sometimes still think of it, as it really was a once in a lifetime trip to Australia You can read about it in my travel blog. It is a german blog but most of the articles are already translated to English: Flug Australien

I like to read what I wrote there from time to time because it brings me back good memories…

One of those memories is a very special one – it was more in the end of our trip, when we were fishing barramundi in Kakadu National Park.

This was a lot of fun, and as we had a very knowledgeable guide, it was also very educative. We learned a lot about the species in the Park, saw a lot of them from very near in their natural habitat and took a lot of great photos. Dean told us about how they live and feed, and showed us more than we could ever find if we went on ourselves.

And the last of my random thoughts for today has to do with my grandmother – to be exact with the socks she always made for me. The quality of her selfmade socks was unrivaled. But I skimmed the net a little bit and found about aother people knitting socks for example on this promising site:

Socken stricken

This site offers info for knitting as well as about wool in general. I highly recommend it.

Blog for money

By On December 3, 2008 No Comments

So you want to blog for money?

Well, so do a lot of people these days. And with some pro bloggers claiming to earn $100,000 in a month, just from blogging, it’s very tempting.

But can the average person earn that kind of money from blogging? In fact, can the average person earn anything from blogging? The truth of the answer is that they probably can’t. And the reason for that is tied in with the reason why blogging can earn big money in the first place.

The blogging world revolves around content – and lots of it. If you’ve ever tried to keep up with the job of creating content for a website, or a blog, you’ll know how hard it is. Initial enthusiasm wanes and after you’ve written 8,963 words, frankly, you don’t feel like writing anymore!

This is where the ‘average’ person simply can’t compete. The ‘average’ person starts well, puts in lots of effort and then, after a while, simply stops blogging. It simply takes up too much of their time.

So what’s the solution? There are many ways to solve the problem, but one incredibly popular solution is simply buying ready made content. It’s done all the time and it can be incredibly lucrative, if you use the materials you buy. If you use the scheduling feature in WordPress, for example, you can enter all your material in one go and then have it appear over a period of time, keeping your blog fresh. Once the material is in and then queued up you don’t have to lift a finger. To make money blogging you can’t get a much easier way than that!

There are many content providers out there and not all content is created equal. If you are thinking about buying content – if not you should be – make sure that your provider offers you training materials so you can make the most of what you buy.

Blogging can bring in good money, but you have to do a lot of it and keep doing it. For most people that’s just too hard so if you are thinking about becoming creating a blog for money remember that you don’t have to create everything yourself.
